Future Female Sounds
‘music is a right and a basic human need’
Tia Korpe is a freelance DJ, mother, creative powerhouse and the founder of the organization, Future Female Sounds. She founded this Copenhagen-based non-profit organization to empower girls through sound and action worldwide. Future Female Sounds arranges free DJ workshops, events, and network meetings globally and also operates as a successful booking agency for female DJs.
Future Female Sound’s mission is to highlight female DJs, promote female role models in the music industry, and introduce women to DJ’ing as a medium of artistic expression and self empowerment. Now these learning experiences are expanding internationally, as Future Female Sounds recently opened up a DJ school in Tunisia.
